It serves to carry a third stop light and to show the world that one has a model with airco but at local road speeds, the rear wiper is required to clear the rain.

At last, I have driven on a rainy toll road and can say that the spoiler does keep rain off the rear window at 110kph. Maybe that's what the makers intended?

it's for the downforce,

at 150 mph the I10 gets a little bit light at the rear, so without a spoiler i think the i10 may fly
