Hey everyone,

Was attempting to read a check engine light for my brother, when I realized that someone at some point had rewired away from the standard OBD2 port to a different (and smaller) kind of OBD port. Does anyone have any ideas of what size/type of port this is? I've attached a picture of the port compared to the male end of my OBD2 scanner (which I believe is a 16 prong terminal), as you can see it is much smaller and has a much different pin layout than the standard OBD2 ports I've seen.

The white port is for factory scan tools which can access different modules on the vehicle. Sometimes that port is also used for production. Many manufactures have these around the vehicle.
