Ive seen that light come on nd stay for a bit. I doesnt say anything about what to do when that light comes on, but when the red light comes on. To turn the car off straight away. I have a 90km trip tomorrow (ive just bought the car) and just want to make sure this blue coolant light means nothing.

No problem... Just indicates that the engine is cold and will go off when the car gets to normal operating temps. The loaner Accent I had for service had this setup as well.

The blue and red coolant lights replaced the temp guage most cars come with. Likely a cost saving thing.

thank you. yes i figured that after a while and that it was nothing to worry about. i still think the older gages are better though.
