2012 4-door Accent. Just started seeing quite a bit of water on the floor mat under the glove box. Felt around under the dash and the area next to fire wall was all wet. AC had been on but it wasn't really hot or humid. This is the first time we've noticed water under there. Anyone know what might be causing this? Is there some kind of AC sweat line to under the car that might be clogged? Thanks.

Had something similar happen on my wife's 2002 Altima a few years ago. Passenger side floor was soaked after a GA to NY trip. 14.5 hours of AC being on. The AC drain was clogged with leaves and stuff from years of parking under trees. My old mechanic in NY took a look and just cleaned it out. Problem solved.

I had a similar thing happen to my little beater Ford Escort last year.. The floor got wet and I could hear water splashing when the blower fan was running. The AC drain was plugged and clearing it fixed the problem.

If it's just water you're seeing then it probably is just the AC drain.. I don't know where the drain is on the Accent, but if you climb under the dash, you might be able to see where it's leaking from.

If it's coolant, it will definitely be time for a trip to the dealer.

Thanks for the updates. Yes, it is definitely water. Nothing visible from under the hood. Will take out the glove box this weekend and see what I find.

Nothing to see removing the glove box... too high up.. You want to be looking behind carpet/plastic panel at left forward corner of the passenger floor.. there is a black rubber has slid onto nipple to flow the condensate out of HVAC box and drip outside car..

Find tem to either be off the fitting, or a insect built nest in the tube clogging it.. you wont find compost clogging it.. the HVAC filter get clogged with compost first, so keep cowl area free of lawn/tree/shrub debris.. filter last longer and not smell like out in the woods

Yes, I see the hose you are referring to. Both ends are connected but there is a big twist/kink in the middle which is probably where it is clogged. Do the ends of the hose just pull/twist off? Thanks much for your help.

If it kinked.... un-kink it.. likely your restriction.. hose fit nipple at bottom of HVAC box, and pass through bulkhead through rubber grommet and just out and drain..
