So I’m told the water pump is good. It’s the case/housing that is broken resulting in the coolant to leak out. Delimma: I cannot find this item for sale by itself. Only a dealer can get it & the whole kit (with water pump timing belt and all) can be purchased:/ Any experience out there with this or ideas on a fix or a source for just the case ...4A945445 last 8digits of the vin

Thanks!

not sure what you're trying to say. The delta engine does not have a separate water pump housing as it used to have on the sigma engined Y3 Sonatas.
When you buy the pump ( 25100-37202), you get the impeller, bearing, belt pulley all preassembled in a cast aluminum plate. This gets bolted directly on the engine block. Maybe you confuse it with the thermostat housing ?
Look at the picture below. Is it leaking from this plate ? Or from slightly below (=the weep hole). If so all you need is that pump assy.

Seep hole channels coolant out of timing belt zone,, dribbles out of hole on block just above the A/C compressor and off corner of block-oil pan rail by drive belt
