Some more older pics...
These two are just flowers I bought for my mom on different occasions.
My all time favorite sky photo. No special editing, it really looked like that.
Driving home from a friend's house in a total monsoon. Driver's side window in
the Probe had quit working and I was 10 miles from home. It was the ride from ɧȝɭɭ!
This little guy couldn't have been more than an inch long. Kodak makes a really
nice camera IMO
.

Spent Black Friday morning kicking around the Ritch Grissom Memorial Wetlands. Screw rampant consumerism. The only thing I bought today was gas and only because I was below a ¼ tank.

How many complaints do you think they had to receive before the
decided they had to put up signs that FROSTY PAWS from PURINA
is for your DOG not your KID!

Mom wanted to go watch the sunrise. So we're sitting in the pre-dawn light
enjoying the quite peacefulness of the breaking waves and the distant sounds
of terns and gulls when all of a sudden from a foot behind me comes
'****-A-****-DOODLY-DOO'. I nearly wet myself. And then this guy comes
strutting down the boardwalk as bold as brass.
There's a freaking rooster at the beach!
I cannot resist taking a shot of the moon when the opportunity arises.
This is a hand held shot just before dawn at Melbourne Beach.
This next image is from the same source as the previous moon shot
but adjusted/edited in Photoshop for clarity (no thumbnail):

Took a trip along the Black Point Wildlife Drive, a seven mile, one-way drive
through part of the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. These are some of
the pictures I got.
What most of Florida looked like before modern man moved in and took over.
It's hard to get the sense of miles of scrub and swamp in a photo.
NASA's monstrous Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB.) off in the mist and fog.
Several miles away and still beyond gigantic.
There were literally thousands of ducks in this one pond in the middle of the
refuge. Do note the number of ducks mooning the camera.
I dont know why but I called this 'Moon Over My Vulture' I must have been
thinking of Denny's at the time... I'm weird, I can't help it! This was taken at
the Canaveral National Seashore. Just down the road from the Merritt Island
Refuge.
Dig the crazy leg colors on these guys. One's are black with yellow feet
(freaky!) and the other's are almost all green (weird!)
Clicking is good. Santa wants you to be good. So... CLICK!

Love the delicate feathers on the white bird. Almost like a waterfall.
They even come in black! Another lucky shot.
Amazing white butterflies were everywhere in the refuge.
Several even flew though the car while I was driving along.
The answer might not have been blowin' in the wind but the reeds were.

He (perhaps she, let's be PC) was HUGE. I mean... WOW! Big!
I followed this guy for 10 minutes hoping he'd hold still long enough for
me to get a picture of him.
Up on top of a 40 or so foot power pole eating a fish and getting right annoyed
at my interrupting. Kite? Eagle? Osprey? I'm unsure.
Get to clicking! Now! Click, Click, Click!
There's but one more picture to go and boy, is it a doozie!

There were a LOT of vultures at the zoo. They were in every area and
constantly circling overhead. It was a bit disconcerting.

White Rhinoceroses at the Brevard Zoo. Dig that rhino butt!
Really, really tall and cute and kinda friendly. I didn't have any cash to feed
the giraffes so they all went off to play their giraffe games...
There's a really neat butterfly in there. I swear there is!
Close-up of the back of a Scarlet Macaw. I love how this came out. It's my
current desktop wallpaper.

It was, sadly, too chilly for them to be active.
I have NO idea what this thing is. I mean, other than some kind of plant.
The... flower(?) was about as big as a football and it hung from a three foot
vine. Very, very weird.
I don't know what this was either but it was adorable!

This is the West African Crowned Crane. It looks insane or maybe it
just had too much coffee...
