Hi, so I attempted to replace both front strut assemblies. After replacing the strut assemblies sometimes the car will ride smooth or it will be feeling very rough. I did the repair myself with all the proper tools and this was about two weeks ago.

How long does it take for the whole strut assembly to settle?

Also what are the torque specs? I want make sure I had the torque specs correct.

I just replaced mine recently with KYB gas struts and found them to be stiffer than Mando OEM or Monroe. TRQ could be gas piston like KYB or even just be relabeled KYB struts. Did you also replace your rear shocks as well?

Would it be better to go with the Monroe ones or would it be better just to stick with these till I wear them out?

So any advice about the rear struts and suspension?
Stock setup or KYB shocks with H&R springs.
H&R springs are progressive rate so you'll have a comfortable ride and better handling than stock springs. The drop the cars ride height no more than 1-1/4 inches.
That's what I'm using now on my car and find them to be a superb spring.
