I have an 2008 Limited with RES.

a few weeks ago. I got a WD media player and try to hook it up using the AUX jacks under the DVD player. I can see the video fine. But, I can not get any sound playing from the head unit. The sound only comes through the wireless headset

everything works ok when i play a DVD.

anyone else has the same problem?

I have that same 'problem'. I have seen posts concerning this before with no resolve. I think that this is a design flaw, and not a broken part. If anyone has a solution, I would love to know. This would be an excellent aux audio input for the '08.

Pull the unit out and find the vendor that made the thing and contact them on-line if you can find contact info..

It has been posted before. This is the way it is set up. You can only use the headphones to get sound.

No work around.
