Hi all,

Recently had a new rear passenger side tyre fitted to my i30. The car came with Michelans Pro Sport 4. Unfortunately the guy who came out to fit me a new tyre has fitted a PRO super Sport.

It's the same width and is and 18 inch tyre as before. The only real difference is the depth of the tyre wall. I've attached a picture if it helps.

Just wondering is this legal or should I get it changed by the supplier.

It looks like a lower profile tyre in the pic but I may be wrong. If it is you will have trouble with the ABS logging a fault code because the wheel will be rotating at a different speed. All the tyres must be the same diameter.
