Took the car in for it's 90k maintenance and figured I would get a quote for a timing belt change with water pump. Guys said it would be about $950 for the belt and about $50 for the water pump...He said it was because of the interference engines. Seems way to high for this type of job, haven't had time to get other quotes yet since I work 3rd shift - figured I would check here 1st.

950 seems way to much. I just got mine changed on a 2005 sonata and it only cost me about 500 or so for the timing belt and water pump.
