Type Of Engine In My 2007 Santa Fe

I have the 3.3 engine in my 2007 Santa Fe. Does the timing chain need to be replaced at 60k miles like the belt on my 2003 Sonata V6?

No..

Expense to replace chain would put serious hurt on pocket.. enough fun to replace the tensioners when the 3.3 first came out and hashed for few seconds on cold start...

Keep oil changed regular with good clean oil and chain, tensioners and rails should last a lifetime.. old fouled oil will tear things up.
Thanks, this is good to know. Not sure the manual tells you this.

That's because (unlike a belt) it's not a regular maintenance item. Thankfully, there's nothing to tell!
