I been wonder why every body shop much as oil change local, tire shop local, or even other Hyundai Dealership label my Tucson as Sport/Limited on paper but not Night?

There are few trim list as SE, SE Plus, Eco, Sport, Night, and Limited but why not mentioned Night if need to specific trim not just assume?

Aren’t they all, (Night, Sport and Limited) mechanically identical with just minor cosmetic differences?

Basically yes, but strangely enough the Night has a narrower 225 19" tire than the Sport and Limited.

What do you mean narrower 225 19" ? Night wheels size are 245/45/19 pretty same for Sport and Limited tires size.

Night only have Rays wheel, Leather wrap on steering wheels, black noir paint on outside mirror caps, and Panoramic roof.l

Once time I took my Tucson Night to body shop and they labeled my Tucson on paper as Value Edition and I called them I said its not Value Edition because my rear bumper doesn't have parking sensor but Value Edition does so I don't end up have few black holes on my bumper. They said doesn't matter as long they have my VIN number to right parts. That's strange to they put down but they got correct parts.

Perhaps the tire dimensions have something to do with wheel / rim size, and how transmission interprets speed / MPH etc? I'm assuming both vehicle trims use the same 19" wheel dimensions however, unable to confirm that;

2017 Night Edition - 225/55R19 = 28.7x8.9R19
2017 Sport Edition - 245/45R19 = 27.7x9.6R19

Size: 19x7.5
Lugs: 5
Bolt Pattern: 115mm
Offset: 53mm
