Hi folks,

I bought a Hyundai Tucson 2016 from an non-dealer source and realized that the SD card was missing. Now I need it to upgrade to Android Auto / Apple Carplay.

I've read here and there that inserting a non original SD card (including a virgin one with the software downloaded on it) would disable the navigation unit.

I know I can buy a card from eBay, but my question is : the car being an American model, can I insert an non American (e.g. European) SD card?

The American one seems to be referenced as 96554-D3121.

won't disable it. Just your navi won't work. There is no answer yet, so you must try it and plz report it over here then. Good luck.
