Troubleshooting Led Drls!

Ordered these to replace my DRLs/High Beams:

But I can't get them to work properly. The only thing I get is this really really faint glow from the LEDs. Please help! Any pointers would be great.

I know I probably shouldn't open this as a new topic but I figured I would get a direct response if I post this way. Thanks again.

i have the same bulbs and they work great on mine. the bulbs were tricky to clip back in there was my only complaint. they are polarity specific(they only work plugged in one way, not the other), so did you try turning the bulbs around? make sure you didnt pop a fuse installing them too.

How can I tell if I popped a fuse or not?

How can I tell if I popped a fuse or not?
1. Check the fuse box.
2. Try putting the original bulb back in and see if it lights up.
3. Get a voltmeter and test it at the terminal to see if you have 12VDC.

Keep in mind that LED bulbs require 12 volts to work properly, and the DRLs are really just the hi-beams operating at half power. Some LED builbs may not be able to operate at the voltage that the DRLs normally get.
if its any help, when i start the car, the led drls are dim for about 1 second, then they come on full bright. i assumed it was the lights themselves adjusting to the low voltage, but once they are on, they dont change... just stay bright. even if i hit the flash to pass and let go, just the same.

since they have always worked, i never bothered to research it further as to if the lights or the car are self adjusting to make them work right. it actually looks kinda cool the way the start up, like you're pulling the cord on an old fluorescent bulb and when you let go, the light gets bright. but it only does that when the car is off and then started.

i know this is a long shot, but the drls will turn off if you have your parking brake on. so make sure you have it off when you're walking around front to look.
Played around some more by switching the plugs and bulbs around. Finally got it working. Thanks guys!
Good to hear!
