How do you know it's the sensor that's failed and not the harness?

You'd be pretty pissed if you only replaced the sensor and it turned out your fault was being caused by a poor connection in the harness, so it kinda makes sense to replace both considering where they live and what's involved in getting at them.

Trans temp sensor part number (off old TSB) = 46386-39050..

I do not have internal harness number, fella have to look it up

Make sure to use VIN for part look up,, not sure what fella was saying that it is part of harness,, maybe on the new "-3B650" for the late 6 speeders,, but not on old steel side pan "NGT" trans
