So my 98 tibby suddenly lost it's will to shift gears. Coming from a full stop at a stoplight, it wouldn't shift to 2nd gear.
If i would want the gears to change, i would have to release the gas, wait for the rpm to reach the appropriate value to switch to 2nd.
This also happens when i'm switching to 3rd gear. It would stay at 50km/h and the rpm would jump up suddenly.
Following this problem, my reverse gear just stopped working -.- .
I've changed the transmission fluid and same results.
Is it time to say bye to my tibby?

i just joined this site becasue my girls car is having the exact same problem and the only codes it has is a 2nd and 4th gear incorrect ratio...i dropped the pan and changed the filter and then did a full tranny flush. it doesnt even try to go in reverse but it goes forward fine except wen it has to change gears....i wanna make sure its not somethign stupid before i get a new tranny
