so ive had my automatic '01 accent 1.6 dohc for about 6 months. bought it with 60,000 miles on it. runs perfect and never had a problem. but i believe there is an issue in the transmission. for a while now, when i come to a stop, it seems to downshift late. or when i slow down and hit the gas it hasn't down shifted and is usually in a gear higher than it should be and it seems to be causeing stress on the car. any ideas of the issue? i was thinking it just needs a new tranny filter and fluid to freshen the viscosity.

Trans activity is module controlled,,, it is only doing what it is commanded to do.
