Hi there folks
I bought my Trajet a few months ago, 60k on the clock FSH and only a 2003. Had no problems with it, took it to my mechanic and he gave it a plug into his diagnostics and all was well. just a couple of strut mount bearings to replace at some point but other that that a good buy.

Recently (and intermittantly) the revs increase to around 1200 when i put my foot on the brake, goes back to normal once the peadal is released, This is most annoying when at the lights, etc.

I have tried to pinpoint when it does it (low on fuel, cold or hot) nothing seems to have a bearing on when it happens. I am just a little concerned because when i engine brake it tries to keep going when it reaches 1200 revs. It doesnt have cruise controll BTW.

Has anyone had any experience of this or any explanation would be useful

Steve

Carpet or mat stuck between your accelerator and brake pedal?
I thought about that one, but it all looks clear

its almost like the ECU is trying to compensate for a a lack of vacuum or something, but i have checked all of the brake and vacuum hoses and all is ok?????
