Ditto what azjerry says. And you definitely want the added brakes working with a 12-foot camper. My 10-foot Palomino is pushing the limit for unbraked towing (ie: 1600-1800 pounds depending on contents), and I guarantee that trying to stop a brakeless 12-footer on a downhill slope would have your butt cheeks clamping onto the upholstery for dear life.
