Tire damage needing replacement?

Today I hit a curb a little too rough and it left my sidewall scarred. Rim is scuffed but mostly just concerned about the tire. Asked for a few opinions already (including a tire shop) all pretty much told me to wait and see if it bubbles/warps in any way, but as for now, I'm good. It is pretty ugly and I'm mostly frustrated since I got the car just a few months ago, but a hazard is a hazard.

Thoughts? Its a 2013 Elantra GT.

Look at inside also.. put on rack and spin tire, verify inside not bent too.. outside looks like a simple flesh wound,, as long as it not cut and see cords,, drive it... if it impact cut inside the tire at sidewall, air will get between layers and make a "blister" (bubble),, if that happens,, get a new tire, as damaged tire run risk of blow out..

Have you a full size spare?
How much tread left on the tyre?
What's the date stamp on the damaged tyre?

It apparently has not breached the sidewall.

This is more of a blemish than actual damage. I would keep riding on it.

If it were an actual gouge I would replace it, but this is minor surface damage.

What he said.

If you start to see a bulge, then replace it immediately.
