The compression issue is not the cylinder... it is the valve spring under compression/load as there is 1 or more lobes trying to move valves, hence the cog shooting 1 way or other...
Best suggestoin I can make is tow it,,,, and let the Hyundai tech that plays with thing everyday deal with it... lot of $$$$ if you goof... I ban have it back together in less than 2hr...
