Hi,
I have a 2012 Hyundai i800 Auto, with 163000 miles on the clock. How big an expense is it to have the chain replaced?
Thanks

i just ordered a the three chains plus guides and hydraulice tensioners £140 +VAT same again but with all new sprockets £160 +VAT. have stripped it myself and will do the rebuild also in my drive i would say about 20 hours of labour start to finish of which 3hrs searching my garage for the right tools(lol) its not a difficult job and not realy awkward to do worse part is removal of the crankshaft pully nut plenty of vidios on youtube but all in Russian there is a company in Birmingham will collect you vehcile and fit a replacement refurb engine for £1600-00. Have you asked your local mechanic for a price
