I have an i10 of 2010. I nearly died as I was driving on and suddenly there's a loud throttle noise, and at that time I didn't know it's the throttle. I brake but nothing happens, and crashed into the car in front. How do I report this? I tried telling the AA which I'm insured against, I tried looking for a place at Hyundai where I can report it but can't find it. I only found this forum, hence writing now. I want to tell others as it may save someone's life. Now I learned that if that happens I should turn off the ignition key immediately. But it was a split second and my brain didn't work that fast!

If you have any ideas, please let me know.
Sue.

I wouldn't bother reporting it to the NHTSA, since that's an American body. I doubt they would be that interested in an incident that happened outside of the US.

The UK body that deals with these types of safety defects is the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency).
