I test drove a rechargeable fully electric mid-trim EV Kona ('Preferred' trim in Canada). I did like that it feels just like a regular gas car. It's not too small inside, and the controls are generally easy to use (with some exceptions). It is not a sporty car by any means despite the (potentially) powerful motor, especially because the steering has no mechanical feeling. It's rather a very easy to drive EV car, with a certain relaxed, sure footed drive - despite the short wheelbase. Downside, I would say it's the seats, not bad, but lacking 'something' to be pleasant and more comfortable on longer drives and somehow not up with the quality of rest of the interior of the car.
