What should be the temperature of the coolant of the engine (@ normal operating conditions)?
The dial of my i20 indicates 80-85 degrees C constantly. Isn't this too low? (I expected it to be around 90 degrees C).

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Visited the dealer today. They plugged in their diagnostic equipment: while the dial on the dash read 80-85 °C, the actual temperature of the coolant was 89°C. So except for the dial's reading everything is fine.

groeten,
