Does anyone have any idea what AMBIENT temperature represents? It's a button that shows the temp when depressed on the Sonata 6 cylinder model. The dealership seemed vague on the explanation and I thought it might be the combined temperature of the inside and outside. But I'm not sure
It means ambient air temp. of the car; not ambient air of you the driver or the AMB button. I think a lot of poeple are confused about this(despite the fact that this is explained in the owner's manual), so it looks like Hyundai started changing it to "outside air temp." or somethig like that, don't remember the exact wording, beginning with some newer models.
