Does anyone have any experience with Switchback LEDs Here? More specifically to be used as a turn signal?

They are supposed to look like this

2012 Traverse Switchback 3157 LED Fog Light option - YouTube

White and running almost like a DRL and then blinking amber when engaged when turning or hazards. Then back to white hence the name.

but In the sonata NF i am afraid they will look like this.

Switch backs - YouTube

I think they have to have some kind of power to light up white and then another signal that comes when your engage your turn signal that tells them to go amber.

I want to get switchbacks but if they aren't going to provide a running white to amber functionality I see no point.

i put a variation of these in on my sonata

60 SMD 1157 Switchback LED Bulbs 30 SMD White 30 SMD Amber Free Load Resistors | eBay

except i went the cheap route and did not bother with the relays. I like them, when they are white, they are not the same hue as my 10k hids obviously, but they dont have that xenon led white either, theyr just sort of a bland white, i can upload a video of mine later on in the day for you...
but i think to answer your question, when they turn amber for the turn signal, they remain blinking with that amber color and dont switch back to white until youve switched off your turn signal.

My Point and Question was that will a proper Switchback LED work as it is supposed to (Always on and white until a turn signal or hazard is engaged then it blinks amber) in an NF Sonata.

I posted the same information as in my first post to Diode Dynamics, Here is the back and forth.

They're Response "The two videos show two different types of bulbs, it is not related to the vehicle.

Our bulbs work like the first video, in Amber/Off turn signal mode. Cheaper bulbs without built-in controllers work like the second video, Amber/White while blinking. The controller make the white stay off when the turn signal is blinking. Our switchback bulbs in an NF sonata would work like the first video."

Me: "
so it is up to the canbus controller to tell it to stay white until the turn signal is given. but what tells the controller, or rather provides power that lights it up white constantly until told otherwise?"

Them: "It's not canbus, but rather an independent microcontroller built into the bulb that controls this function. It keeps white off when it gets the turn signal / amber power. Correct, it has nothing to do with the vehicle."

Thanks BI, the Video answers my question exactly. Awesome.

Dumb question but when you are installing the switchbacks are you having to modify anything besides the flasher or just installing the new bulbs? The reason I ask is currently when I turn my parking lights on my bulb where the switchbacks will replace is not lit. It only comes on when the turn signal is blinking. What provides the switchbacks the signal to light up when in parking light mode?

What year is your car ( i assume 09 due to your name)? 09-10 have a different light setup than the 06-08 and the parking light is separate from the turn signal switch and backs wont work.
