I have a 2001 and a 2005 Hyundai Accent. I had to replace the axels in both cars at different times. My 2001 I changed the axel on the passenger side and when I let the car back down the strut wouldn't depress back down so every bump on that side was like I had zero suspension. I went out and bought new struts and it was better but it seems as though after I jacked up the car it has been more STIFF on that side I jacked up. I have tried jacking it back up and letting it back down. I have sat on the fender well and jumped up and down on it thinking that maybe it was stuck but it still isn't quite right. Last night I replaced the axel on my 2005 and now it seems stiff. I don't know if jacking up the car is doing it and how do I get it back to being a smoother ride? anyone have any suggestions other than don't replace the axels?
