Hello, my Elantra 2012 sunroof when being opened or closed is making a noise like gears striping and not opening or closing properly. Could this be a lubrication problem and if so how to remedy this problem and where to lubricate, Thank you

There was a service bulletin for my (2015) Elantra sunroof. My May 2016 invoice mentions "Completed sunroof controller replacement as per 50C055". If you haven't been to a dealer to see if your car is included in the service bulletin, you may want to see if it's the culprit.
