I recently purchased a 2005 Tucson LX. While I am informed that it has a subwoofer I have not been able to locate it in the vehicle. If anyone has one can they tell me where it is so i can be sure the dealer did not ripp me off.

It's my understanding that you have to purchase the 6CD Changer Option. That option comes with the sub-woofer.

Were they install it I'm not certain... yet. I will ask a friend of mine who works for the service division and post back here.

O.k. the awnser is...

Its a part of the speaker as we use amplified speakers. The Main Amp is installed in the rear right upper quarter panel.

so there is no actuall sperate subwoofer as in many other vehicles that advertise a subwoofer. hmm sounds like a sneeky advertising campaign
