I live at the top of a very rugged dirt hill driveway that often gets worse in the spring and summer months due to increased rain. I replaced the struts and shocks with KYB parts going on 2 years this summer, within the year I have noticed that they were getting worse and at this point virtually shot. When I do replace them here in the near future again I would really like to splurge a little and get some decent rugged ones that can handle the daily abuse that my driveway presents. Since I have never been one of the "off road" type guys I was curious if anyone has any opinions on a semi off-road strut/shock that also won't cost an arm and a leg. I'm okay with spending more money for something that will last longer, but I'm also not loaded lol.

Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Santa Fe is not a rugged SUV. Suspension is also a weak one in the crowd. You should find yourself a 4X4 instead of spending money on its suspension parts upgrade. Sorry.
