hi everyone this is my first time on this forum, I have a 1997 accent 1.5, a few days ago I noticed that when I start the car for the first time after being stationary for half a day the starter work but the engine wont start until several attempts (it hesitates and the start) and I smell fuel odor. After moving around and stop and start again nothing goes wrong it starts right away and I noticed that happening when the weather is hot (35 degree) I mean in early morning the car start fine even after several hours of being stationary.

Hi there,

I had a similar problem with my '99 Accent. Turned out that the coil was starting to go. Once that was replaced it worked like a dream.
