I have a 2011 hyundai sonata GLS and I put 19" genesis coupe wheels on it about a month ago. Now for the past 2 weeks anytime I drive on the highway, a strange whining noise starts anytime my car accelerates/decelerates and hits 2000-2250 RPMs. The noise will continue as I get off and drive city streets as well. Until I turn my car off it won't stop. I can drive city streets all day without the sound happening. Also, I have no loss of power and the car performs just like it always has. It's just an awful sound to be hearing. Is it possible that my larger tires are interfering with the transmission or something else in the engine? If any of you have heard of this happening or any other info that would be great.
