Our 2011 Sonata started the "clunking" problem a couple months ago. After researching, I ordered and replaced the MDPS bushing. After the replacement the clunking went away, but now at low speeds when turning, you can hear a clicking sound coming from the column... Any ideas? Did I put it back together incorrectly? Does it need the calibration?

Thanks

How many miles on the car? Dealership would've replaced it for free if under 100K miles/10 years.

Since the clucking went away and stayed away for a couple of months as per your post, maybe it's the bushing again? You'll have to wait for someone with more expertise to troubleshoot the issue.

My apologies, I realize the information error. It was only a couple days after the bushing replacement that the wife noticed the clicking sound.

Unfortunately, we passed 100k miles back in the beginning of the year. Missed it by that much...

I considered replacing the bushing again just to be sure, but I thought I'd do a little fishing for any other possible information before doing the work again.
