This isn't a direct replacement of the steering wheel but I must admit it is the nicest overlay for the wheel I have seen to date.

I am tempted at this but don't know if the wood tone will match the sidebars on the doors. I am hoping for an OEM replacement kit for the wood tone there.....

Seems to be too much on the tacky, plasticky side. I would keep looking at other vendors, I'll bet you'll find some better quality choices.

Three comments....

One - this does not appear to fit the 2011 "YF" Sonata.
Two - Are you getting a wood kit? If so which one
Three - I almost p***ed my pants when I read your post title!

Even if it fits the 2011 Sonata wheel, I think it looks out of place due to its thickness as compared to the rest of the wheel

It really does look like a cheap add-on and if you wear a ring, it will be scratched in a hurry.

You will be better off purchasing a quality leather wheel cover and spend a patient and relaxing hour or so lacing it on. I have done this on various cars in the past including a 2008 Sebring convertible that I had recently. They look better than OEM.

Here is the product I always use. You will be impressed with their quality and fit.

If you want, you can purchase a replacement steering wheel with simulated wood.
But it's for 05-10.

I work for the company if you are interested. But there's no plan for 11-Up Sonatas.
Hey ELation... Speaking of sporting wood...

I am considering buying a dash kit for my 2011 Sonata Limited. Sherwood has some kits, but in order to get the parts I want, I need to buy 2 different kits, and toss a bunch of parts I don't want.
Here is a suggestion: Come out with a kit that covers the Just Piano Black Areas... Basically the AC Vent covers, and the Door Trim, PLUS the window switch bezels. Basically your kit 4137, minus 4134,07 and 08, plus pieces 4135-24, 4135-25, 4135-26, and 4135-27. Perhaps without the center console parts by the cup holders.
I'd bet you would (wood!) get some takers here. Comments?

Given the choice between what I have and an 10 wheel, I will keep what I have..... Thanks anyway, Too bad they aren't coming out with an 11.....

Also , for what it is worth, I agree with what Jsmit86 is suggesting.....

Hi, jsmit86.
Thanks for your interest and suggestion.

I'll reply in this thread since one of the member made a post about the Sherwood kit.
