Help, recently got an 01' Sonata 2.4. It had been abused and mis-repaired i.e. new timing belt was off a tooth etc.. upon beginning to straighten it out I found that the " don't mess with it cap" on the speed adjusting screw had been blown off and the screw was cranked all the way in, obviously in an attempt to overcome the various mis-repairs and get a non-stalling idle. Now I believe most MFI systems have a spec. for something like 1 1/4 turns from zero contact with the throttle lever. I was unable to find anything at HMAservice regarding this setting. Any help will be appreciated, thanx. :liebe011:
