I still have my gas guzzler (01 4runner that gets 13-15mpg at most) :D

and why are ppl complaining about premium? It's only what $3.00 more per fillup??? I mean realllllllllllllllly..... (4 out of 5 of my cars need premium and I only use Shell VPower)

Well that depends on where you live. That ish adds up if you drive a lot like me! 2000 miles per month so far :(

Never had to use premium, never had a gas guzzler either though.

Back in 2004-2005 I was driving as much as 4000 miles a month. In 2005 we had the gas spike in NY, gas went up to $6/gallon!!! I was filling my Lexus GS400 3-4times a week @ $50 a fill up on premium...talk about expensive!

The "premium gas only" in most luxury and sport vehicle is one big hoax. Most modern engines with computer controlled advance knock sensors and engine management can easily run on regular unleaded. Sure you get slightly lower MPG and a few less HP. But it absolutely doesn't do irrepairable engine damage.
some cars yes, some no....my two Acura Legends are chipped with air/fuel curves adjusted. If I don't run premium, it will knock like crazy. My wife's supercharged Monte only runs 1-2lbs of boost at most on anything less than 93 and I like 10+psi :D My 4runner SHOULD run on regular but has seemed to taking a liking to premium only lol
