Hi I have a 2007 Hyundai accent SR. I would like to get some used snow tires and rims for it. I cannot afford to get 205/45/R16 snow tires. I also cannot get a straight answer from the tire shops on what size tires and rims I can put on my car. Can someone please tell me what size I can get. Would like to stay with 16 or 15's. Of course they are 4 bolt.
Thanks :)

the brakes are the same for all accents so you can even fit 14" wheels. I believe 15's will have better tire selection though.

205/50R15 tires fit, but are a little shorter than the oem 205/45R16. for snow driving I would opt for something slightly taller, like maybe a 195/55R15 (this is the oem accent 15" tire size) or maybe a 205/55R15.

wheels are 4x100 bolt pattern. 54.1mm center bore. any offset in the +30-50mm range should fit. 1st and 2nd gen miata oem wheels are a direct fit. 4 lug E30 wheels will fit also.

Try 185/65/14 or 195/55/15. I have a set of 14s on my car. Works great during winter. They are Motomaster Nordic tires made by Goodyear.

I use my old 14 inch rims. and run the 175x70 r14 snow tires. work great in NYC area. But when i change from my summer 205x45 R16 summer tires, man does the car change to real squirely handling.
