Hi Floks,

What are the signs of the smaller car battery agining.... recently I have started noticing that I have to hit the Start button a couple of times before it will eventually start.....maybe like 2 times... is it in some way related to the battery aging....I have a 2013 with 92k miles on the odometer...

any advice.

If you do it yourself, you have to order the battery shipped to the store. Couple of days transit. The type is in another thread.
The battery just runs the computer. The crank is coming from the Hybrid battery. Ever change the FOB battery if you have one ?

When I started having the same issue, it wasn't the battery or key fob at all; it ended up being a defective brake switch.

There should be a dashboard light (or warning) when you start the car and your foot is not on the brake or in park (neutral safety switch).
That way you know the problem. . . . oh, that's right.. you could repair it yourself.... my bad !
