I use it occasionally. Like when I'm going up a long hill. I like to keep it in one gear so the transmission doesn't hunt. I also use it in stop-n-go traffic. One thing I noticed is that even if it's in shiftronic mode, it will downshift automatically to 1st when you slow down to a stop and you can't start out in anything higher than 2nd.
