Shark Racing Testers Wanted For Trunk Lip Spoilers

As many of you probably know, the color codes for the US Sonatas and the Korean Sonatas are different.

I had just assumed that since the paint codes are different, the colors were actually different.

However, Jdugan ordered a set of white pearl powerfolding mirrors from us and he tells me that the color is an exact match.

So, now I'm wondering if Hyundai just changed the names on some of the colors. Not all the colors in the US are available in Korea and vice versa, but most of the popular colors are, SO, we're looking for testers.

If anyone has been wanting to get a trunk spoiler, here's your chance.

We sell the Sonata trunk spoilers on our site for US$150 shipped.

We will sell one of each of the following colors for US$90, so that if the color is wrong, you can get it painted with the money you saved.

The colors we are looking for are as follows...

1. Radiant Silver - This is Slick Silver in Korea
2. Harbor Gray Metallic - This is Hyper Metallic in Korea
3. Remington Red - This is Venetian Red in Korea
4. Pacific Blue Pearl - This is Blue Black in Korea
5. Phantom Black Metallic
6. Black Plum Pearl - We only have one black color in Korea, Black Diamond, and I'm not sure which one it would corresnpond to. If any owners of Black Plum Pearl can chime in here, is it a straight black color or does it have any other tint to it?

So, we're looking for 5 or 6 guys who can buy our spoiler and compare with the color on their car to see how close the color is.

If the color matches 99%, then you luck out, and if it doesn't, you can get it painted.

As before, we're opening this up only to members who have more than 25 posts.

Just post here with the color that you want, and I'll send you the link to place the order.

Actually, now that I look at the list again, I think Blue Black would be closer to Black Plum Pearl than Pacific Blue Pearl... So, the list would be as follows.

1. Radiant Silver - This is Slick Silver in Korea
2. Harbor Gray Metallic - This is Hyper Metallic in Korea
3. Remington Red - This is Venetian Red in Korea
4. Black Plum Pearl - This is probably close to Blue Black in Korea
5. Phantom Black Metallic - Black Diamond in Korea

I am an owner of a Black plum pearl, and it does have a purpleish hue to it when its in the sun. At night if you get real close you can see the very deep purple color, so a black spoiler would look very off.

Yeah, if you look at my second post, you'll see I changed that. I think it may be closer to the Blue Black in Korea, if not the same.
are these spoilers attached with 2 sided 3M tape? how well do they hold over the years?
I would be interested in doing the Pearl white, but you don't have it listed.

We have confirmed white is a match

I'd be all over this if there was an Indigo Blue Pearl.
I'm about to order a grill and rear diffuser ... Can I take on this price for a radiant silver?

I was thinking that since they are different mfgs., the colors could be different. I would buy one for the $90.00, not interested in it for $150.00.
Hmmmm I have Venetian Red in Downtown California

So, you're saying you want the deal? Or are you just posting some random information?

By grill, I assume you mean a chrome grill, right? Yes, we can offer you the spoiler as part of the deal listed above. Just let me know via email when you want to order.

you have the black plum pearl?!?! thats a beautiful colour!! couldnt find any in florida and had to "settle" for phantom black :(
is the harbor grey the right color? anyone? i'd like to see what it looks like but i just bought my car like two weeks ago so i don't have 25 posts.
$90 shipped, Right? I will try the black one if it is metallic. Obviously the point is to help you determine if the colors match, but if there is no metallic flake in the black, I know it won't.
I'll Possibly Give the Phantom Black Metallic a Try. PM me if it hasn't been taken yet
