Does anyone know how to free an apparently seized rear brake adjuster?
My 2006 1.5 diesel crtd gsi has just passed it's MOT, but gained an advisory of the rear brake discs. When I was prepping the car for its test I noticed i couldn't adjust the handbrake star wheel adjuster to remove the rear disc on one side.
So is there a way to free it? Is actually seized or could it be something else?
At least I have a year to sort it out :)

There maybe a screw tighten to the wheel hub. Remove that screw with hand impact wrench first. Once you can drive it, the handbrake should be free from disc, and the problem is that the rear rotor is seized on the wheel hub. Hit the rotor with hammer, use torch to heat up, pour muriatic acid into the gap, it's not easy but you can succeed with proper method
