anyone else suffered the need to change the sump. probably only a problem for those of us in northern wet/cold/salty climes. bit of a job. also having a good poke around underneath reveals a total lack of any corrosion protection.

Mine just developed an oil leak....took it to a friends garage and up on the lift it went only to find a rusty sump that was more gauze filter like than solid metal. New sump pan came in at £297.47 inc the VAT. The parts chap sounded very surprised that Hyundai still supplied them.

Now for the fun job of changing it.

Any advice??

Hi Andy, just been reading your post about a rusty sump and I have a similar problem on my 2007 Terracan. Can I ask how you got on with replacing your sump? Thanks Brian.
