Hi I have a 2007 Elantra. I was wondering if anyone had a problem with a rusted subframe? Are we able to get help from Hyundai if we complain? I know they issued a recall for the 2007 sonata for this same problem? I am faced with a 2000 repair bill. My front right axle completely broke away from my frame while I was driving due to a rusted subframe that I was unaware of. Now I have a few repairs needed due to this anyone have any advice.
Repairs needed are in the photos the ones highlighted pink are the ones the shop does the others I would have to go to a different shop

Well, I would ask your local dealer.

Where did you do your oil changes? Have you ever gone there?

Also, there was a TSB I think about corrosion protection for the subframe, but you should have gotten a letter about in which you were asked to show up at the dealer to have it addressed.
Not sure how they will handle it if the protectant was never applied.
