Hi!

My '09 GLS came with the standard CD/MP3 radio with XM. I'm looking to switch to an aftermarket radio with external GPS antenna for navigation and SiriusXM.

Does the Sonata GLS roof fin come standard with XM and GPS antennas & wiring? I'm wondering if I could tie the aftermarket radio's GPS input into the fin if it potentially has GPS already.

From some online reviews it appears the iDataLink Maestro SAT1 adapter will convert the Sonata's XM wiring to the SiriusXM SXV300 Connect Vehicle Tuner antenna input.

Your aftermarket GPS antenna will be attached to the metal bar facing up when you pull the factory radio out. It does not need to be mounted outside.

As for the sat antenna just purchase Fakra "K" Connector to SMB Connector. Eightwood Satellite Radio Antenna Adapter Cable 6" Fakra Curry Code K Male to SMB Female Right Angle for Sirius XM Car Vehicle Radio Stereo Receiver Tuner

Unplug the factory Xm harness plug into the adapter then into the Sirius module.
