I just recently got my car, its a 2001 hyundai sonata. I love it to pieces, except i'm experiencing some problems. most importantly my reverse lights don't light up when i'm in reverse. I located the fuse panel but cant figure out which fuse i need to be looking at in order to fix the problem because i dont have an owners manual. i did buy a hanyes repair manual but it doesnt help. if anyone can help i would appreciate anything.

Light bulbs be first item to inspect.. dont see both bulb go open circuit at filament often enogh, they barely used, unlike tail lights and stop lights that used all the time,, but anything possible.

If bulbs are good, use a meter to see if you have 12V at the socket using first the hot and ground contacts within the socket, and next with the hot contact and an independent ground. Poor ground contact is frequently the problem on lighting circuits giving problems, so you may have some cleaning to do.
