Hi
Just wondering if anyone has removed their space-saver spare wheel, and replaced it with a full size steel wheel (with a matching standard size tyre 165/60/14).

I am thinking of buying a new full size steel as it will give me greater peace of mind.

One thing I haven't tested if it will actually fit in the boot well ok, I assume it does as there are a good few inches of space all around the skinny space saver.

Any thoughts?

thanks

I am having Hyundai Grand i10 now. I have not made such experiment as you are mentioning. But as per my automotive knowledge, the boot space is sufficient enough to keep the big sized tyre that you require to keep in. Actually, Hyundai i10 comes with a boot space of 225 ltr.
