Hi,

Has anybody been able to remove the positive battery terminal on the getz? I removed the bolt on the top of the terminal but the terminal still seems to be stuck. I even knoked it softly with a hammer, but I am afraid to damage the terminal. The negative terminal is "normal" and easy to remove. I see other posts like this but with no answers how to remove it.

Hope somebody can help otherwise I have to take it to the dealer(stealer) :)

I understand your feelings. Yes, the positive terminal connector seems to be tricky. The nut/bolt on top works as a "compression fastener" to the battery post. Just by loosening it (no need to remove completely), the connector should come off easily. If it doesn't, it means its possibly stuck with dirt or corrossion buildup. Just give3 it a few knocks with a hammer (lightly) sideways and pry up the connector. It should release easily.
