Hi all. We bought a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.7 V6. It came with a remote starter. Now, the car will sometimes start, sometimes not. All of the dials will flash back and forth, and the air conditioner and/or heater will come on by themselves. The radio will come on by itself also. If you try to start it with the starter, the car makes a sort of growling, clicking sound. If you press on the brakes, the open door sign shuts off. We ha ve put in a new battery. If you step on the b rakes or turning on the lights will help it start. Does anyone have any ideas? We are getting ready to have the remote starter removed...is this the problem?
