Hi.

I've a 2007 Amica GSI (UK spec) and the rear wiper whilst working has stopped returning to the correct start/finish position at the bottom of the screen. It just stops where it is at the point you switch the wiper off. Also the rear wash has stopped altogther.

I've ruled the fuse out (its a joint fuse front and back) as the front and rear wipers are getting power to them so now thinking it may be a relay issue????? Does that seem right???? and if so which relay needs replacing as i can't find a relay diagram for the car that helps.

I think it's unlikely to be a relay issue.
It's more likely to be a fault with the self park switch inside the wiper motor. Or it could be break in the park switch wiring. It's pretty easy to check the park switch if you remove the tailgate trim and have access to the motor connector. All you need is a voltmeter or a 12V test light to check the switch.

If I helped you fix it, why not...

Your support is greatly appreciated
